Wordstock Talk: Featuring Charlie Angus & Dangerous Memory
Join Wordstock Sudbury Literary Festival for a special evening with author, political commentator, and longtime Northern Ontario voice Charlie Angus.
Charlie will be in conversation about his latest book, Dangerous Memory: Coming of Age in the Decade of Greed (House of Anansi), a powerful reflection on the forces that shaped a generation and the roots of political awakening. Blending memoir, history, and cultural critique, the book looks back at the 1980s to explore how ideas about power, resistance, and community continue to shape our present moment.
The evening will feature an interview, reading, and audience Q&A, followed by a book signing.
As a festival grounded in the belief that literature helps us better understand the world around us, Wordstock Sudbury is proud to present this timely conversation about activism, storytelling, and the role of memory in shaping the future.
Schedule:
6:30–7:00 PM – Doors Open
7:00–8:00 PM – Interview, Reading & Q&A
8:00–8:30 PM – Book Signing
Books will be available for purchase on site.
